| Training: I have been on the stage for the last 30+ years and during that time attended numerous residential theatre and stage courses organised by the DLI and others. The last one was in the Stanislavski course run by Joe Devlin in 2004. My first stage appearance was in Balfe’s The Bohemian Girl, aged 16.
Since retiring in 2003, I continued my theatre work as an actor and director and have also appeared in film and TV, (script and background). I completed my M.A. in Theatre Studies (1st Class Honours), St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, in 2007 and my PhD on Walter Macken (1915-1967), the mid-twentieth century playwright and actor, in 2010.
I am a performer and director. Currently, I am a member of the Millbank Theatre, www.millbanktheatre.com, Rush, Co. Dublin, Holding Court Theatre Group at the Axis Theatre, Ballymun, www.axis-ballymun.ie and the Dublin Lyric Players,
